 Alumni Spotlight: Nikhil Shah
After graduating from Stevens this past May, recent alumnus Nikhil Shah has already been applying what he learned during his time as a Quantitative Finance major in his post-grad endeavors. Having finished his undergraduate studies in 3 years, Nikhil decided to get his Masters's degree in financial engineering at Columbia University. With quantitative finance being a more niche field, Nikhil mentioned how he had the opportunity to leverage his Stevens background in his current studies.

Professor Florescu weighs in on current job market trends
The Director of the Hanlon Lab, Professor Ionut Florescu was featured in an article on current job market trends. The article was originally published on Zippia, a website that helps individuals discover new jobs and career paths that are right for them. Zippia spoke to professors and experts from several universities and companies to get their opinions on where the job market for recent graduates is heading, as well as how young graduates entering the industry can be adequately prepared.

CRAFT Launch Meeting
Join the Center for Research toward Advancing Financial Technologies for its launch meeting, which will include panel discussions and research presentations relevant to the financial industry. Sponsored by the National Science Foundation and led jointly by the School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology and Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, CRAFT is the NSF's first industry-university cooperative research center devoted specifically to financial technology and science.
