Stevens High Frequency Trading Competition 2025 (HFTC25)
The School of Business invites U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to participate in the High Frequency Trading Competition, using the SHIFT simulation platform to develop trading algorithms. Team awards will range from \$400 to \$2000 in prize money!
Important Dates:
- Applications Open: December 10, 2024
- Deadline: February 1, 2025
- Trading Period: March 24 – April 25, 2025

SMIF Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Alumni Reunion
The Stevens Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) celebrated its 10th anniversary with an alumni reunion, bringing together past and current members for a night of networking and reflection. The event featured remarks from School of Business leaders, Vanguard’s Warren Pennington as keynote speaker, and alumni Ashley Greenberg ’15 and Ryan Giordano ’17, who shared how SMIF shaped their careers. Current students connected with industry leaders and gained valuable career insights, continuing SMIF’s tradition of preparing students for success in the financial industry.
Stevens Financial Programs Holiday Celebration & Alumni Networking
On Friday, December 6, 2024, Financial Engineering, Financial Technology & Analytics, and Finance programs at Stevens hosted the Financial Programs Alumni Meetup at the Babbio Center.
The event brought together alumni and current students for an evening of fun and meaningful connections. Attendees reconnected with old friends, networked with the next generation of finance professionals, and celebrated the holiday season in a lively atmosphere.
