    Sharif Haason is a Hanlon Financial Systems Lab Assistant at the Stevens Institute of Technology , where he is also a candidate for a Master of Science in Financial Engineering. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
His current research for his capstone project involves studying the use of Implied Willow Trees for pricing exotic interest rate derivatives. At the Hanlon Lab, he builds server infrastructure for deep learning applications and provides technical support to students and faculty. Prior to his work at Stevens, Sharif gained experience as a DevSecOps Engineer at Cloudnosys, Inc creating security controls in JavaScript for AWS. He is proficient in a range of technologies including Python, SQL, AWS, and Rust.
